Three Strategies to Move Successfully Forward in Life

Life is full of challenges and surprises.  There are no guarantees of having things going your way all the time.  That is why it’s important to have a simple set of tools or strategies that you can count on to help you move forward in life.

Usually, when things go wrong, worries, stress, fatigue, mental and physical health issues might arise and become big problems because we get overwhelmed with some negative feelings such as depression, shame, fear, anger, resentment, jealousy and more.

However, in these moments the most important thing that we need to remember is that.

“YOU ARE NOT ALONE.”

” Say, “Nothing will happen to us except what God has ordained for us; He is our Protector.” In God let the faithful put their trust.”  (Surah 9 vs. 51)

Bad things or unforeseeable circumstances happen to all of us and there are a lot of things in life that are beyond our control.  Think about this, can you control waking up from your sleep any time you want?

The honest answer is “NO”

 “It is You we worship, and upon You we call for help.”  (Surah 1vs.5)

That’s why, if you want to move forward successfully in life, you must implement these three strategies every day in your life.  The three strategies that I am talking about are:

1. Reliance on God or the Creator,
2. Ask Him for Help.
3. Ask Him for Guidance.

Why should you rely on God or the Creator?

Reliance on God or the creator is acknowledging that the world, the universe and everything that exist are controlled and sustained by HIS power.  If you willingly put your trust in Him, you can and will overcome anything because you believe in something that is greater than yourself and your situation.

Why should you ask for His Help?

Asking for help from your Creator gives you hope.  Sometimes, life gets so tangled up that you feel trapped. It becomes hard to know where to turn, what to do or even who to ask for help.  When God send Moses (PBHU) to the pharaoh, Moses (PBUH) ask God to give him his brother a helper for his life mission.

“And appoint an assistant for me, from my family. Aaron, my brother.  Strengthen me with him. And have him share in my mission. That we may glorify You much.  And remember You much.” (Surah 20 vs. 29-34) After all, remember “Ask and you shall receive.”

  ” Whomever God leads astray—you will never find for him a way.” (Surah 4 vs. 88)

Why ask for guidance?

Guidance is everything. It gives clarity and confidence to do what you need to do. To be guided is to avoid taking the long or wrong path or make unnecessary mistakes.  How often when people go on vacation, they hire a guide to take them around?  They choose to spend the money and hire a guide they want to see the best that the place has to offer in a short period of time without struggling, suffering or guessing about where to go, how to get there or what to do.  In addition to that, they will find someone who speaks their language to explain and show them things that they are interested in learning about such as history, culture, traditions, food or anything else that they might want to know.

”As for those who believe in God, and hold fast to Him, He will admit them into mercy and grace from Him and will guide them to Himself in a straight path.”  (Surah 4 vs. 175)

In conclusion, the best way to successfully move forward in your life is to trust in God or the Creator wholeheartedly, ask Him to help and guide you. God has a plan for you so, work hard and move forward without fear and plan for your life too.

“Oh, my Lord, please help me and guide me.”
